KARACHI: The 2nd Sohail University National Tennis Championships for seniors and juniors will commence at Modern Club from June 6.
The events to be played are for juniors under-18 (singles and doubles), under-14 (singles and doubles), under-12 (singles), seniors 45 plus (doubles), and seniors 55 plus (doubles). Besides, a few Sindh ranking events have also been included in the championship for men’s (singles and doubles), wheelchair tennis (men’s singles), under-10 with green balls, under-8 (singles) with orange balls on half court, and under-6 (singles) with red balls on mini court. The championship carries kind awards worth 0.15 million while all main draw juniors (singles players) will be entitled to economy class railway fare (both side) as per PTF rules.
