QUETTA: Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar Professor Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir and three other officials who had been abducted in Mastung district were recovered safely, sources said on Sunday.
According to sources, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Pro Vice Chancellor Syed Manzoor Ahmed, lecturer Shakeel and their driver were kidnapped around 10 days ago from the Khad Kocha Kund Umrani area of Mastung.
The abducted officials were reportedly released on Saturday in the Kardgap area of Mastung district.
No official statement has yet been issued regarding the circumstances surrounding their release or the identity of kidnappers.
Further investigations into the incident are underway.
