Pakistan is facing a serious economic crisis and its effects are being felt by people from all social classes. Poverty is no longer limited to rural areas or low-income families. Today, even middle-class families are struggling to afford basic needs and higher education. Many university students are worried about their future because the cost of living is increasing while job opportunities remain limited. As a result, many talented graduates are leaving Pakistan in search of better opportunities abroad. This growing brain drain is weakening the country’s future. Poverty is not only about the lack of money; it is also about the loss of hope and opportunities for young people.
To overcome this problem, Pakistan needs long-term economic reforms. The government should support local businesses, improve the agricultural sector and provide better digital opportunities for young people. Reducing poverty is not an act of charity. It is an investment in the nation’s future. If proper steps are not taken now, the country’s young population may become a burden instead of its greatest strength.
