ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers have been made in federal bureaucracy. Muhammad Tariq Chauhan, a Grade-21 officer of Police Service and Director General of National Police Bureau, has been transferred and his services handed over to the Punjab government.
Director General of FIA, Dr Usman Anwar, has been given additional charge of Director General, National Police Bureau, Islamabad.
Dr Muhammad Tahir Khan, who was serving as Director in Pakistan Meteorological Department, Karachi, has been transferred and assigned as Director, ND Wing, Cabinet Division, Islamabad.
