ISLAMABAD: Arif Saeed, President of the National Olympic Committee of Pakistan, has appreciated services rendered by Yasir Pirzada during his tenure as Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board.

During this period, the Pakistan Olympic Association and the Pakistan Sports Board remained engaged on important matters relating to sports development and athlete welfare in Pakistan. Particular focus was placed on discussions and collaborative efforts concerning the formulation of a structured Cash Prize Policy, as well as a comprehensive plan for athletes training and development.

The Pakistan Olympic Association believes that such professional institutional engagement is essential for strengthening athlete development, enhancing sports governance, and advancing the country’s overall sporting framework. The Pakistan Olympic Association extends its best wishes to Muhammad Yasir Pirzada in his future professional responsibilities, he said.
