Noor Muqaddam murder case hearing adjourned till first week of June

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of Noor Muqaddam murder case till the first week of June.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Hashim Kakar heard the case.

During the proceedings, the court directed that the matter be fixed for hearing in the first week of June after Eid, observing that the case was lengthy and required dedicated time for hearing. The court further instructed the staff not to schedule any other criminal case on the day fixed for the Noor Muqaddam murder case so that uninterrupted and focused proceedings could be conducted. During the hearing, counsel for the accused Zahir Jaffer, Khawaja Haris appeared before the court.
