Ahmed, Abdullah among top seeds in Asian Individual Squash

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ahmed Rayan and Abdullah Nawaz are among the top seeds in the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Championships that is to be held in Panzhihua, China, from May 20-24.

According to the draws of the event, second seed Abdullah Nawaz got bye in the first round of under-19 category. In the first round of under-17 category, 3/4 seed Umair Arif is to face Thailand’s unseeded Peemawat Poonsiripuk and 9/16 seed Nauman Khan is drawn against unseeded China’s Liao Zhongyu. In the first round of under-15 category, top seed Ahmed Rayan Khalil got bye and 5/8 seed Sohail Adnan is playing against unseeded Alexander Muratidis from Uzbekistan.
