KARACHI: Balochistan is developing a comprehensive, sustainable, and practical policy framework with strategic initiatives aimed at promoting mountaineering, sports climbing, hiking, adventure tourism, and Canoe Kayak water sports across the diverse landscapes of the province.
This was revealed in a two-day conference organized by the Tourism Department, Government of Balochistan, under the patronage of Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism and Culture, Nawabzada Zarain Khan Magsi in Quetta the other day.
The prominent speakers of the conference were President Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) Irfan Arshad Khan and Senior Vice President ACP Shahzada Hayatullah Khan Durrani (Pride of Performance).
The speakers emphasised on empowering climbers, hikers, mountaineers, and water sports athletes through improved facilities, modern training programs, and institutional support to raise the standards of adventure sports in the province.
