KARACHI: Geo Films and Filmwala Pictures are bringing the action-packed, thrilling and suspense-filled film “Zombeid” this Eid-ul-Azha. The official trailer of the film was launched at Arts Council Karachi, leaving the audience mesmerized with its intense visuals and gripping atmosphere.
A large number of celebrities, media representatives and film enthusiasts attended the trailer launch event, while the venue remained completely packed. Artists dressed as zombies also became part of the ceremony, adding excitement and creating a thrilling environment.
The event was attended by the film’s lead stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat, producer and writer Fizza Ali Meerza, writer and director Nabeel Qureshi, the film’s villain Majid, along with renowned actors Ejaz Aslam, Mani, Yasir Hussain, director and producer Wajahat Hussain and Bilal Yousafzai.
After watching the action-filled, thrilling and adventurous trailer, the audience responded with loud applause and praised the performances of the cast.Speaking at the event, Fahad Mustafa said that making such a film is never easy and requires tremendous energy and dedication. He appreciated the direction of the film and praised the efforts of the entire cast. He added that playing a role in films is easier than maintaining the continuity and intensity required for a character in “Zombeid.” He said the final verdict now belongs to the audience. Fahad also urged people to double the joy of Eid by visiting cinemas with their families and enjoying the film on the big screen.
Director Nabeel Qureshi called the project a bold adventure and revealed that “Zombeid 2” will also be made. He expressed hope that the film would meet audience expectations and become a major success. He further said that he personally enjoys horror films and always wanted to create one of this scale in Pakistan.
Producer Fizza Mirza stated that the film has been crafted with great expertise and confidence, adding that she strongly believes the movie will achieve remarkable success.Lead actress Mehwish Hayat shared that she traveled to the United States to train for her role in the film. She said she has always loved such genres and feels proud that Pakistan is now capable of producing films of this level and quality.
Following the trailer launch, excitement among movie lovers increased tremendously, with audiences eagerly waiting to experience “Zombeid” on the big screen. Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat are expected to surprise viewers with completely new and unique avatars. It is worth mentioning that Geo Films has previously presented several blockbuster and critically acclaimed films including “Khuda Kay Liye,” “Bol,” “Teefa in Trouble,” “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” “Donkey King,” and “The Glassworker.”
