Islamabad : President of the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman has said that in addition to helping deserving families in Pakistan, the organization will also arrange Qurbani for the victims of Gaza during Eid-ul-Azha in Egypt, Lebanon, Jerusalem, Gaza, and Pakistan.

Dr. Hafeezur Rehman while talking to media alongside Vice President Zikrullah Mujahid said that for the people of Gaza, 1,500 cows and 1,500 small animals will be sacrificed.

He said that Rs2.325 billion will be spent on the Qurbani project, under which 13,000 animals will be sacrificed.

He added that Qurbani worth Rs1.035 billion is specifically being carried out for the people of Gaza.

In Egypt, 100 cows will be sacrificed, and within a week, fresh meat will be delivered through chillers to victims living in war-affected areas.

Meanwhile, in Pakistan, 6,000 cows and 4,000 small animals will be sacrificed for deserving families.

He further explained that after Qurbani in Egypt and Pakistan, the meat will be preserved in ready-to-eat tin packs and delivered to the people of Gaza. Special flights from Pakistan will also transport meat along with food supplies.

The President of Alkhidmat said that, like the previous two Eids, they will spend this Eid-ul-Adha with Palestinian refugees in Egypt, where, in addition to Qurbani arrangements, Eid celebrations will also be organized for the affected families.

Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman added that Palestinian students studying in Pakistan have also been included in the Qurbani activities. Alongside the Qurbani, an Eid gathering will be organised in the presence of foreign diplomats and philanthropists.

Highlighting last year’s performance, he said that in 2025, more than 1,600 cows were sacrificed at a cost of Rs700 million, and the meat was supplied to Gaza victims throughout the year.
