Islamabad : Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, the president and acting rector of International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad, has said “Marka-e-Haq” is pride of Pakistan, says a press release.
He said that this victory of Pakistan has been inscribed in history as a shining symbol of national resolve, courage, and unity.
During a ceremony, he paid rich tributes to the Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly Field Marshal General Asim Munir, all defence institutions, and especially the Pakistan Air Force for their unwavering role in safeguarding national sovereignty.
He underlined that Pakistan’s bonds with brotherly nations are rooted in shared faith, mutual trust, and fraternity, reflecting a collective commitment to Muslim unity, peace, and progress.
Earlier on Friday, Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed led special prayers for success and dignity of Field Marshal General Asim Munir during Friday prayers at Faisal Masjid.
Field Marshal General Asim Munir is an academician of international stature and he has served his country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of research on child abuse.
Dr. Shehzad said that Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed has turned around the IIU in one year since he was given this responsibility. He said Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed’s comments about Pakistan and regional peace are very meaningful and more valuable than routine professors because he is an international scholar of reckoning, with first-hand experience of observing global diplomatic moves.
Dr. Shehzad said Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed has exhibited enormous potential to resolve long-standing problems of the institution he is heading.
