Shoaib in yet another ITF Futures semis

ISLAMABAD: Mohammad Shoaib checked into his second successive ITF Futures semi-finals, beating Kerem Yilmaz (TUR) in straight sets in the quarter-finals at the McDonald’s Pakistan ITF Championship 2026 (ITF M-15 Leg-2) at the

PTF Complex Courts on Friday. Shoaib beat Kerem Yilmaz (TUR) 6-4, 7-6(9). After winning the first set with a serve break, Shoaib had to gather all his reserves to beat Turkish player on the tie-break in the second to win a place in the semis.

Shoaib, who won the ITF M-15 Leg-1 title, once again displayed excellent form and confidence, maintaining his winning momentum with another strong performance. With this result, Shoaib has become the first Pakistani player after Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Aqeel Khan to reach back-to-back ITF Men’s semifinals.
