KARACHI: Pakistan’s Huzaifa Ibrahim has entered the final of the $6000 Tortola Classic in British Virgin Islands on Friday.

Third seed Huzaifa overpowered Adam Murrills 11-8, 11-4, 5-11, 11-2 in 40 minutes in the semifinal. Adam took early lead in the first set but Huzaifa managed to take the game 11-8.

Similarly, Huzaifa’s power and shot making ability got him the second set as well. But he lost the third set and in the fourth set Adam sustained an injury to his right leg and he took a 3-minute time out and he couldn’t quite recover afterwards. Huzaifa then easily won the fourth set.

Now, Huzaifa is to face top seed Nicholas Spizzirri from the United States in the final, who has shown good results recently in Bermuda and at the US Nationals.
