FJWU holds Marka-e-Haq celebrations

Rawalpindi:Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) organised a week-long activities in connection with Marka-e-Haq celebrations and Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza and on the directions of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Directorate of Student Affairs.

The activities aimed to promote patriotism, national unity, resilience, and civic responsibility among students while paying tribute to the sacrifices rendered by the Pakistan Armed Forces in safeguarding the sovereignty of the country.

The celebrations commenced with a speech competition organised by the Literary and Debating Society on the topic ‘Role of Pakistan Armed Forces in Defending National Sovereignty in Marka-e-Haq’.

Students delivered speeches in both Urdu and English, highlighting the importance of national sovereignty and the role of the armed forces in defending the nation. The Health & Well-being Society, Character Building Society, Literary and Debating Society, and the Department of Behavioral Sciences jointly organised a webinar titled Marka-e-Haq and Bunyan-ul-Marsoos: Lessons of Courage, Unity, and Psychological Resilience.
