‘Marka-e-Haq a golden chapter in Pakistan’s military history’

Rawalpindi:A peaceful and grand rally titled “Main Pakistan Hoon” was held on Liaquat Road to mark the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos” and to express solidarity with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the Pakistan Armed Forces, says a press release.

The rally was led by Sheikh Abdul Waheed, President of Anjuman-e-Tajran Liaquat Road Rawalpindi, while he was accompanied by Sardar Nazir Ahmad Kashmiri (General Secretary) along with a large number of traders and prominent figures from various walks of life.

Participants of the rally carried banners, placards, Pakistani flags, and wore Pakistan Army caps, while raising slogans in support of Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir and the Armed Forces of Pakistan. The participants paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the armed forces for the security, stability, and defense of the country.

At the conclusion of the rally, addressing the gathering at Fawara Chowk, Raja Bazaar, Sheikh Abdul Waheed said that Marka-e-Haq “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos” is a golden chapter in Pakistan’s military history, which has given a strong message of unity, courage, and patriotism to the entire nation.

He stated that under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistan Armed Forces have demonstrated unmatched courage, strategic excellence, and unwavering resolve, which is a matter of pride for the entire nation.

He added that Pakistan is not just the name of a geographical territory; “I Am Pakistan” is a movement. Today, every one of the 250 million people of Pakistan is ready to sacrifice everything — life, wealth, and possessions — for the country.
