Islamabad:The Center of Pakistan and International Relations (COPAIR) Thursday organized a seminar titled “Marka-e-Haq” at a local hotel to commemorate one year of the historic event, says a press release.
The seminar brought together prominent political, military, academic and diplomatic figures to discuss the historical significance of Marka-e-Haq, national security, defense sovereignty, hybrid warfare, the role of youth, and Pakistan’s future vision.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar attended the event as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he said that Marka-e-Haq stands as a shining example of the unity, courage and professional excellence of the people and Armed Forces of Pakistan.
He stated that Pakistan’s Armed Forces have always rendered unparalleled sacrifices for the defense, security and stability of the country, and the entire nation stands firmly beside its military institutions.
Delivering the welcome address, COPAIR President Amina Munawar Awan said that Marka-e-Haq is not merely a historical chapter but a symbol of the determination, resilience and sacrifices of the Pakistani nation.Former Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said that Marka-e-Haq demonstrated Pakistan’s strong defense capabilities and its preparedness to counter all forms of threats.
Vice Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University Professor Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal stated that Marka-e-Haq carries an important message of national consciousness, research and intellectual awakening for the younger generation.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Ambassador (r) Khalid Mahmood thanked all guests and speakers, stating that Marka-e-Haq symbolizes the unity, sovereignty and enduring resilience of the Pakistani nation.
