LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the Australia men’s cricket team will tour Pakistan later this month for a three-match One Day International (ODI) series, their first bilateral ODI assignment in the country since 2022.

Australia will arrive in Islamabad on May 23, with the opening ODI scheduled at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30. The series will then move to Lahore, where the second and third ODIs will be staged at the Gaddafi Stadium on June 2 and June 4, respectively. All matches are set to begin at 4:30 pm local time, with the toss taking place at 4:00 pm. Earlier there were plans to hold all the three matches of the series in Lahore but after consultation between both the boards the series was split with the opening game scheduled for Rawalpindi.

This series will be Australia’s first ODI tour of Pakistan since March/April 2022, when the visitors last played in Rawalpindi. Earlier this year, in January/February, Australia featured in a three-match T20I series in Lahore, which Pakistan won 3-0.

Australia also participated in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 hosted in Pakistan, where they recorded a notable five-wicket victory against England at the Gaddafi Stadium on February 22. Series schedule (All matches to begin at 4.30pm local time):

23 May – Australia arrive in Islamabad

30 May – 1st ODI, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

2 June – 2nd ODI, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

4 June – 3rd ODI, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
