KARACHI: Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has launched the Suzuki Fronx in Pakistan, introducing what it describes as a new XUV category in the local market.The company said the model is positioned as a compact crossover aimed at combining styling and practicality, marking part of its broader product renewal strategy.
Speaking at the launch, Suzuki executives highlighted the company’s global focus on compact vehicle development and its design philosophy centred on efficiency and space optimisation. Pak Suzuki Managing Director Hiroshi Kawamura said the model reflected the company’s intent to offer products aligned with changing consumer preferences and mobility needs in Pakistan.
Managing Officer and Executive General Manager, Automobile Marketing – Asia, Latin America and Oceania Masafumi Harano highlighted Suzuki’s global strength in compact, efficient and high-quality vehicles. He emphasised the philosophy of ‘Sho Sho Kei Tan Bi’ -- Smaller, Lighter, Fewer, Shorter -- Neat and Beautiful, adding that compact mobility is the smart choice today.
The Fronx is based on a coupe-style design and is positioned in the compact crossover segment. It comes equipped with features including a 9-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, push start, cruise control, rear camera and parking sensors. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with electronic stability control and hill hold assist.
The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine and is offered with both manual and automatic transmission options.Pak Suzuki said the model is being introduced in three variants: GL (manual), GL (automatic) and GLX (automatic).
