KARACHI: Gold prices fell by Rs10,400 per tola on Tuesday, following a decline in the international bullion rates.The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) said 24-karat gold dropped to Rs432,236 per tola, while the price of 10-gram gold fell Rs9,360 to Rs368,985.
The prices dropped by $104 in international markets, where gold settled at $4,098 per ounce. Local prices in Pakistan are typically benchmarked against global rates, with a $ 20-per-ounce premium.Silver rates decreased by Rs487 to Rs6,664. The 10-gram rate also dropped by Rs438 to Rs5,641.
