Pakistan Rangers Sindh arrested two suspects linked to the “Lalo Gang” during an intelligence-based operation in Lala Abad, Sukhan, officials said on Wednesday.

The arrested suspects were identified as Hameedullah alias Mano, son of Musa, and Fareedullah, son of Sher Zaman. Authorities recovered a pistol magazine with 15 rounds of .30-bore ammunition, a pouch, and two mobile phones from their possession.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, the suspects, along with their accomplices, were involved in multiple incidents of robbery and mobile phone snatching in areas including Quaidabad, Korangi, Lala Abad, and adjoining localities.

Officials said that Hameedullah was not only involved in street crime but also in diesel smuggling. He was a habitual offender and had previously been arrested and jailed, with multiple cases registered against him at various police stations in Karachi.

Raids were being conducted to arrest other members of the gang. The detained suspects had been handed over to the police along with the recovered items for further legal proceedings. The Rangers have urged citizens to report criminal activities to the nearest Rangers check post, helpline 1101, or via WhatsApp, assuring that the identity of informants will be kept confidential.
