LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar inaugurated ‘Marka-e-Haq Games 2026’ at the National Hockey Stadium on Wednesday.
Marka-e-Haq hockey match was played between Punjab Green and Punjab Blue hockey teams at National Hockey Stadium in which Punjab Green emerge winners by 1-0 goals. Murtaza scored the only goal of the match. It may be noted here that Punjab Sports Department is organizing different sports competitions under the title of ‘Marka-e-Haq Games 2026’ to commemorate Pakistan’s historic victory in last year’s Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos’ against arch rivals India from May 6 to 9.
Talking to media on this occasion, Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Punjab Sports Department is organising ‘Marka-e-Haq Games 2026’ to pay rich tribute to Pakistan army. “Definitely, it is the best way to express solidarity with Pakistan army who defeated the arch rivals in a brave manner”.
Marka-e-Haq Karate competition will be conducted at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall on May 7 (Thursday), Cycling Race will be organized at Central Business District (CBD), Main Boulevard Road on May 8 (Friday) while Sher-e-Lahore Dangal will be organised at Punjab Stadium on May 9 (Saturday).
