KARACHI: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has launched a digital payments platform, SmartPay, aimed at corporate, commercial and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients.
The platform offers a cash management solution that allows businesses to process vendor payments, payroll, utility bills and tax payments through a single interface.NBP said the system is designed to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency by consolidating multiple payment functions into one platform.The bank added that the service includes built-in security features and is part of its broader push to expand digital banking services for business clients.
