Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will inaugurate the newly completed Daanish School in Islamabad tomorrow (Thursday), marking a key step in the government’s push for modern, high-quality education across the country.

Ahead of the ceremony, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui visited the campus to review final preparations and assess readiness, underscoring the ministry’s focus on delivering the project at the highest standards.

Officials told him that the Daanish School Islamabad was a purpose-built, state-of-the-art institution offering modern classrooms, residential facilities, laboratories and a library. They said the school, designed to accommodate students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, aimed to provide equal access to quality education in a structured learning environment.

The minister toured key facilities, expressing satisfaction over the planning and infrastructure. He described such initiatives as central to education reform and human capital development.

Interacting with students, Dr. Siddiqui congratulated them on their admission and encouraged them to pursue academic excellence and contribute positively to society. He also praised the efforts of the project team, calling the school a potential model for future educational institutions aligned with the vision of a knowledge-driven Pakistan.

Officials said the inauguration by the prime minister would formally launch the institution, reinforcing the government’s commitment to expanding modern, inclusive and high-quality education nationwide.
