Officers briefed on urban beautification initiatives

Rawalpindi: Participants of the 8th Six-Week Post-Induction Training Course for newly appointed PMS officers (BS-17) visited the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Complex, where they were briefed on urban beautification projects and horticulture operations.

During the study tour, the officers visited the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi to gain practical insight into urban development, environmental improvement and horticulture management. 

 The participants were given a comprehensive briefing covering ongoing development projects, restoration of green belts, renovation of parks, tree plantation campaigns and other initiatives aimed at enhancing the city’s aesthetics.

The role of modern urban planning in maintaining environmental balance and providing a healthy environment was also highlighted. 

Addressing the participants, Additional Managing Director of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, Fazail Mudassir, said the agency was making continuous efforts to transform Rawalpindi into a greener, cleaner and more attractive city.
