LAHORE: Citizens were deprived of cash, gold ornaments, mobile phones, motorcycles and vehicles worth hundreds of thousands of rupees during various robbery and theft incidents in the city.
According to details, in Batapur, Nawab Din was robbed of Rs260,000 and a mobile phone.
In Shahdara Town, Yaqoob lost Rs245,000 and a mobile phone. In Kot Lakhpat, robbers took away Rs400,000 and a mobile phone from Waseem.
In Sundar, Muqaddas was deprived of Rs225,000 and a mobile phone, while in Race Course, Zohaib lost Rs215,000 and a mobile phone. In Iqbal Town, Atif was robbed of Rs200,000 along with a mobile phone and other items.
Meanwhile, cars were stolen from Naseerabad, Kot Lakhpat, and Defence B, while motorcycles were reported stolen from Rang Mahal, Kahna and Sanda.
