PESHAWAR: Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Pakistan, Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, has stated that Pakistan and Malaysia share deep-rooted friendly relations and both countries are making efforts toward economic development.
A communication on Sunday said he expressed these views during his visit to the Chinese Cultural Centre, China Window, in Peshawar.
During the visit, the high commissioner toured various galleries, signed the Friendship Wall, and recorded his impressions in the guest book.
He remarked that Pakistan is playing a very important role in the current international scenario, which has been appreciated across the world.
Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan said at this time, the eyes of the world are focused on Pakistan. “I am confident that Pakistan is playing a significant role in easing tensions,” he added. The Malaysian envoy added that Peshawar is a peaceful city, and he was very pleased to visit here.
