Islamabad : Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Sardar Tahir Mahmood has appointed Jamil Khokhar as the chairman of the Standing Committee on Arts and Culture, says a press release.
This appointment is a recognition of Jamil Khokhar’s artistic services and social commitment.
This move is a clear proof that business institutions are now recognising the importance of culture and fine arts and linking it with national development.
Executive members Zulqarnain Abbasi, Shahbaz Chauhan and Rana Qaiser Shahzad were also present on the occasion.
