MNA Sofia Saeed Shah held a meeting with Abdul Qudoos and other senior officials at the K-Electric IBC Saddar regarding unannounced loadshedding and feeder changes in Burnes Road Town. During the nearly two-hour-long meeting, scheduled and unscheduled loadshedding in different Saddar Town areas were discussed.
Sofia said the MQM-P’s public representatives firmly believe in selfless public service and are proud to serve the people through the party’s platform. Referring to complaints received during recent public meetings, she held discussions with Qudoos and sought details of complaints registered by the public.
The delegation also demanded the immediate elimination of the kunda system in the area. Qudoos sought complete billing details from his subordinates, and made the assurance that a joint strategy would be adopted to resolve the issues.
Representing the locals, Town Joint Incharge Howard John briefed the meeting about the ground realities and public issues. At the conclusion of the meeting, Sofia and the town representatives thanked everyone for their cooperation and assured them of their full support.
