Islamabad: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) organised a one-day special seminar at Bahria University to raise awareness about road safety and traffic regulations.
A large number of students and faculty members attended the event. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, was the chief guest. On the occasion, Director Administration Bahria University Commodore (r) Shaukat Ali, Professor Dr. Adam Saud, and Focal Person Dr. Samra Ashfaq was also present.
In his address, the CTO emphasised the importance of road safety, saying that adherence to traffic laws is the responsibility of every citizen. He added that educating the younger generation about traffic rules is the need of the hour.
Officers from the ITP (Education Wing) gave a detailed briefing to participants on safe driving practices. On the occasion, an MoU was also signed between ITP and Bahria University under the “Friends of Police” program to enhance mutual cooperation.
