ISLAMABAD: A thirteen-member delegation of lawyers from the Multan Bar Association called on Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court, Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, on Thursday.
During the interaction, matters of mutual interest were discussed, with particular focus on the challenges being faced by the legal community in the region, as well as the emerging opportunities for professional growth and institutional development.
The secretary of the Multan Bar Association briefed the Chief Justice on the efficient working of the Bar and its performance in case management. He apprised that out of approximately 40,000 pending cases, nearly 10,000 cases have been successfully disposed of, reflecting the Bar’s continued commitment towards timely justice and effective coordination within the legal system.
The Chief Justice appreciated the efforts of Multan Bar Association and acknowledged the role of the legal fraternity in supporting the broader objectives of judicial efficiency and constitutional governance.
The visiting lawyers extended a formal invitation to the Chief Justice to visit the Multan Bar Association, which was graciously acknowledged.
