PESHAWAR: Secretary Energy and Power Nisar Ahmed on Thursday visited the sites of mini micro-hydropower projects under construction in Upper Dir.
An official communique said the official visited 75kw in Doog Payeen, 250kw in Siabadarkani, 150kw in Mianz Doog, 200kw in Kalkot, 500kw in Sheringal, 250kw in Tapandy, 250 kw in Thal Malo, 150kw in Babozoo, and 100kw in Maina Doog.
The secretary also met the local community members at these places and listened to their problems carefully. He assured the local communities that with the provision of funds, all the remaining projects would be completed as soon as possible.
The secretary asked the project directors concerned to complete the projects as early as possible to provide immediate relief to the people during the summer season.“Any kind of negligence or negligence in quality construction would be unacceptable,” he added.
