Hafeezullah appointed Pakistan Railways CEO

ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers have been made in federal bureaucracy.

The prime minister has approved the appointment of Muhammad Hafeezullah as Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Lahore. A Grade-21 officer of Pakistan Railways, Hafeezullah was serving as General Manager.

The chief executive officer is a Grade-22 post. The appointment will be effective for one year or until a permanent CEO is appointed, whichever comes first.

Nasir Durrani, a Grade-19 officer of Secretariat Group and Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, has been transferred and appointed on deputation to Benazir Income Support Programme for three years.
