ISLAMABAD: A significant reshuffle has taken place in the federal bureaucracy, involving the transfer and posting of several civil and police service officers across key ministries, divisions, and provincial governments.
Joint Secretary, Establishment Division, Majid Mohsin Panhor, has been posted as Director General of the Presidency, while Joint Secretary Sajjad Haider Yildirim has been transferred from the Religious Affairs Division to the Establishment Division.
In other postings, Abdul Waheed Shah, currently serving in the Gilgit-Baltistan administration, has been appointed Joint Secretary, Religious Affairs Division. Several other officers awaiting postings have also been assigned new responsibilities, including Muhammad Usman in the Establishment Division, Zahoor Hussain in IT Division, Khalid Nazir Wattoo in Defence Production Division, Jawad Akram in the Industries and Production Division, and Asia Gul in Inter-Provincial Coordination Division. The Federal Public Service Commission has also seen a new appointment, with Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas named as Director General. Shahzeb Hasnain has been appointed Deputy Secretary, Home Division. The services of Captain (retd) Rizwan Qadeer (PAS BS-19) have been transferred to the Balochistan government, while Kulsoom Saqib has been deputed to the Civil Services Academy in Lahore.
In the information technology sector, Ali Raza has been appointed as Chief Cloud Adoption under the Ministry of IT on MP-1 scale for a three-year contract. Meanwhile, Police Service officer Rana Hussain Tahir (BS-18) has been transferred from Punjab to Islamabad Police.
