CHANGSHA, China: Sindh Senior Minister and Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that President Asif Ali Zardari’s visit is an important step toward further strengthening Pak-China relations.

He added that President Zardari’s meetings with the Chinese leadership would give a new dimension to the long-standing trade and strategic partnership between the two countries. In a statement on Tuesday, Memon said that special attention was given to the promotion of mutual trade, investment, infrastructure, and regional cooperation in the meetings with the Chinese leadership, which were very important for Pakistan’s economic development.

He said that China has supported Pakistan in every difficult time, and the friendship between the two countries is based on mutual trust, respect, and common interests. President Zardari’s visit will not only further strengthen economic ties but also bring positive developments for regional peace and stability.

Senior Minister Memon stressed that President Zardari’s visit would create new opportunities for cooperation in various sectors, ushering in a new era of development and prosperity in the country. This friendship between Pakistan and China would continue to expand in the coming years, and both countries would achieve new goals of shared development, he said.
