LAHORE: The Sports Board Punjab (SBP) is set to inaugurate its Centre for Sports and Medicine at the National Hockey Stadium, a landmark initiative aimed at enhancing athlete fitness, performance, and injury prevention.
The announcement came during a meeting chaired by Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, attended by Director Admin Abid Shaukat, senior sports medicine specialist and POA Medical Commission Secretary Dr. Asad Abbas Shah, Deputy Director Zahoor Ahmed, and PMU officials.
Several important decisions were taken to ensure the centre functions in a professional and sustainable manner.
DG Tariq Qureshi emphasized that the centre will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to improve the health and fitness of athletes across Punjab. “SBP’s Centre for Science and Medicine will prove to be a great facility for the better health and fitness of athletes,” he said.
