PESHAWAR: A joint search operation was conducted in the Hassankhel area of the provincial capital close to Darra Adamkhel on Monday.
Senior police officials including Capital City Police officer Mian Saeed Ahmad, Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Farhan Khan and senior officials of security forces led the operation in the remote areas.
Reports said the operation was conducted after reports of the presence of terrorists in the area, planning attacks. Surveillance drones as well as armoured personnel carriers and bomb disposal units were used during the operation.
