Even more concerning is that this situation persists despite many households investing in solar energy to reduce their burden. Electricity bills have become unaffordable. Even those who have installed solar panels are still receiving heavy bills, which raises serious questions about the system and its fairness. At the same time, loadshedding continues in many areas. The shortage of gas has also made things worse, adding more financial pressure on families that are already struggling. The government must take immediate steps to control electricity costs, ensure fair billing, reduce loadshedding and improve gas supply. The public deserves basic necessities without constant stress and uncertainty.
