QUETTA: A miner was killed and another injured when a mound of earth collapsed at a coalmine in the Khost area of Harnai district.
The incident occurred in sub-tehsil Khost, where a sudden landslide buried two workers. As a result, Muhibullah son of Abdullah, a resident of Killa Saifullah belonging to the Kakar tribe, died on the spot, while Pista Khan, son of Shah Muhammad, also from Killa Saifullah and of the Kakar tribe, sustained injuries. Both were retrieved from the coalmine and shifted to the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Khost.
After completion of necessary formalities, the body and the injured worker were handed over to their families.
