KARACHI: Mobility platform inDrive has joined the Unicorn Community of the World Economic Forum, aiming to bring the perspective of emerging markets such as Pakistan into global discussions on digital equity.

In a statement on Tuesday, the company said its participation will focus on expanding fair access to services, creating economic opportunities and addressing algorithmic bias through its ‘fairness-first’ model.

Founder and CEO Arsen Tomsky described the move as a significant milestone, adding that the platform seeks to promote more inclusive, transparent and fair digital economies, particularly in fast-growing and underserved markets.

The membership will also support broader economic inclusion and enable the company to advance non-profit initiatives, including empowering women entrepreneurs and promoting education and digital literacy.
