SUKKUR: A five-month pregnant woman was allegedly tortured to death over a gold necklace dispute in Mirpur Mathello, Ghotki.
A tragic incident occurred in Shah Faisal Colony in Mirpur Mathello city, where 20-year-old Ajma (Anjhan) Bozdar was allegedly subjected to severe domestic violence.
The victim was five months pregnant at the time. Mirpur Mathello police shifted the body to DHQ Hospital, where medico-legal procedures were completed.
The incident has sparked grief and anger across the area, while the victim’s family has demanded the immediate arrest of the accused and strict legal action to ensure justice.
Police said an investigation into the incident is underway and that the accused will soon be brought to justice.
