KARACHI: Minister of Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar and senior Balochistan Education Ministry representatives held a strategic meeting with Zeeshan Hasan, CEO of Khan Academy Pakistan, to chart the future of AI-enabled education in government schools.
The meeting follows the conclusion of a pilot programme designed to test the efficacy of Khanmigo, an artificial intelligence assistant, in public-sector classrooms. The pilot focused on upskilling teachers to use the tool for lesson planning and real-time student support.
By integrating Khan Academy’s AI tools, the government aims to democratise access to high-quality academic support, which was previously limited by staffing shortages and infrastructure constraints.
