RAWALPINDI: Former first lady Bushra Bibi Saturday underwent a scheduled medical examination in Adiala jail, following a recent surgical procedure on her eye, according to official sources.
A specialised two-member medical team arrived at the facility to perform a follow-up check-up and evaluate the recovery process. The team consisted of Dr Nadeem Qureshi, an ophthalmologist, and Dr Muhammad Arif.
Medical sources report that the examination yielded positive results, describing her current condition as satisfactory. Doctors noted a “noticeable improvement” in the affected eye since the procedure.
Bushra reportedly underwent an initial operation two days ago. Following the successful assessment, the medical team cleared her to continue her recovery within the jail premises under standard post-operative care protocols.
