NOWSHERA: Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial president Khalid Waqas has said that the organisation’s “Bano Qabil” programme is equipping youth with modern, science-based skills while also creating dignified employment opportunities.
He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Bano Qabil IT Centre in Nowshera as the chief guest. He said the initiative was proving to be a milestone in connecting young people with global opportunities and strengthening the national economy.
According to him, hundreds of graduates from the programme, including both young men and women, are now earning a respectable livelihood and playing a positive role in society as productive citizens.
On the occasion, a historic agreement was also signed between Alkhidmat Foundation and the Nowshera Press Club.
Under the agreement, Alkhidmat will provide modern IT training courses to enhance the professional skills of press club members and will also establish separate Bano Qabil classes for the children of journalists.
In addition, members of the press club and their families will receive special discounts on medical treatment at Alkhidmat hospitals.
In return, the Nowshera Press Club will voluntarily support and promote Alkhidmat Foundation’s welfare activities through media coverage.
Addressing the ceremony, district head of Jamaat-e-Islami Nowshera, Haji Inayat-ur-Rehman, and district president of Alkhidmat Nowshera, Nasir-ul-Islam Farooqi, also highlighted the importance of the initiative.
