CSS exam 2025: 327 vacancies announced

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has determined number of vacancies in various occupational groups and services based on final results of CSS Examination 2025.

According to FPSC document, recruitment will be made against 327 Grade-17 posts in federal services, including 191 fresh vacancies and 136 carried-over posts. The allocation includes 169 seats for open merit, 35 for women, and 123 for minorities, while provincial and regional quotas have been observed as detailed above. The distribution of vacancies covers groups such as: Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service of Pakistan, Foreign Service of Pakistan, Inland Revenue Service, Office Management Group, and other occupational groups.

The allocation has been made in accordance with provincial/regional quotas, as well as women and minority quotas.

Provincial/regional quota distribution:

Punjab: 157 (under 50pc quota); Sindh (Rural): 30; Sindh (Urban): 28; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 43; Balochistan: 28; Ex-FATA: 16; Azad Kashmir: 7; Gilgit-Baltistan: 3.

According to the press note, candidates will be allocated to different groups based on: Merit position, suitability determined by the Commission, candidates’ preferences, domicile. The final result of CSS 2025 is expected next week.
