KARACHI: Information technology (IT) exports rose to $413 million in March 2026, registering a 21 per cent increase year-on-year (YoY) and 13 per cent growth month-on-month (MoM).

Topline Research said that despite the government’s target of $5 billion IT exports for FY26, it expects the sector to post growth of 18-20 per cent during the year, taking total exports to around $4.5 billion, compared with $3.8 billion in FY25.
The report added that under the government’s ‘Uraan Pakistan’ economic plan, IT exports are projected to reach $10 billion by FY29, implying a compound annual growth rate of 27 per cent over the next three years.Analysts said sustained policy support, a stable exchange rate, and continued global demand for digital services would remain key drivers for the sector’s growth trajectory.
