RAWALPINDI: Counsel, for the former chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry has written to the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to sign and return legal documents related to the prosecution of Toshakhana, Al-Qadir Trust and GHQ attack cases, sent on April 7.

The letter stated that serious administrative negligence has been shown in failing to return the legal documents.

It adds that the non-receipt of the documents is adversely affecting the rights, access to justice, and fair trial of the former chairman PTI. The counsel also mentioned that he visited the jail on April 13 to collect the documents which were not returned.

It further demanded that the signed legal documents be returned within 24 hours.
