LAHORE: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said that a network of new hospitals is being laid across the province. Historic and revolutionary steps worth billions of rupees are being taken in the health sector, and efforts are being made to provide the best health facilities to the people at their doorsteps.
He said this while addressing a meeting in the Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department on Wednesday.
The meeting was convened to discuss ongoing and proposed development projects of health. Punjab Health Secretary Azmat Mahmood, Special Secy Development Ahmed Kamal Mann, Additional Secretary Amira Bidar, Chief Planning Officer Fatima Noreen and other officers attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Lahore, Nawaz Sharif Medical District Lahore, University of Child Health Sciences Lahore, Maryam Nawaz Institute of Cardiology Gujranwala, Maryam Nawaz Medical College and Teaching Hospital Mianwali.
