Islamabad: The Forum of Information Group Secretaries in its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of Syed Anwar Mahmood, former Secretary of Information and Broadcasting, expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Mufti Jamiludin Ahmad, a distinguished member of the first batch of the Information Group.
The participants of the meeting paid rich tribute to his services and offered Fateha for the departed soul, praying for his eternal peace and granting of patience to the bereaved family.The meeting featured a keynote address by former President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Ambassador Masood Khan, who attended as the guest speaker.
He delivered an insightful talk on the prevailing global geopolitical landscape, highlighting emerging challenges and opportunities, and engaged the participants in a thoughtful discussion on international affairs.
The session was also attended by the family members of the late Khawaja Ejaz Sarwar. His wife and daughter Maria Humayun were specially invited by the forum. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by the members to uphold the legacy of service and professionalism exemplified by their distinguished colleague.
