ISLAMABAD: Four matches were contested on the third day of the Youth Under-18 National Hockey Championship 2026, being organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), with teams displaying dominant performances in a series of one-sided encounters.
In the opening match, Punjab 1 overwhelmed Sindh 2 with a commanding 7-0 victory. Muhammad Ali led the charge with a hat-trick, while Aman Hassan struck twice. Ahsan and Momal contributed one goal apiece to complete the rout. The second match witnessed an even more emphatic result as Punjab 4 thrashed Gilgit-Baltistan 13-0. Muhammad Usman scored three goals, while Arsalan, Ali Akbar, and Noman netted two goals each. Zunair, Hassan, Ahmed, and Hamid added one goal each in a completely dominant display.
In the third fixture, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) 1 defeated Balochistan 5-1.
Mozan and Sharjeel scored two goals each, while Uzair added one. Muhammad Aun scored the lone consolation goal for Balochistan.
The fourth and final match of the day saw Pakistan Customs secure a 6-2 victory over KPK 2. Asam Haider and Hussain scored two goals each, while Abdullah and Hasnain added one goal apiece. Sudais and Muzammil scored one goal each for KPK 2.
