KARACHI: Chery Master Pakistan has begun delivering its Tiggo 8 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) to pre-registered customers, in line with its April 2026 timeline, the company said on Friday.

The Tiggo 8 PHEV was launched for advance bookings in January at an introductory price of Rs10.99 million, which was later revised to Rs11.29 million from February 1 following strong demand.

The vehicle is positioned in the seven-seater SUV segment and features plug-in hybrid technology, offering an electric-only range of up to 90 kilometres and a combined range of around 1,200 kilometres.

Chery said the rollout follows preparations across production, supply chain and after-sales support. The company has established a network of 10 dealerships nationwide, with plans to expand further.

The launch comes as Pakistan’s auto market shows increasing interest in hybrid and electrified vehicles, driven by higher fuel costs and changing consumer preferences.
